New HOPE Rewards Program Information

As a HOPE Platinum Rewards Visa credit card holder, you know the many benefits that come with the card, including the ability to earn great rewards when you use the card.

The company that provides service for HOPE’s Platinum Visa credit card rewards program has made changes to the system.  The new rewards program will offer members with more options for redemption:

  • Gift cards for hundreds of popular restaurants and stores.
  • Travel options on flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and vacation packages.
  • Cash deposited to your HOPE account to spend however you wish.
  • Merchandise from a catalog filled with thousands of popular items.

You can access the new rewards program site to learn more and redeem points by visiting www.extraawards.com/hopecu.  All of your rewards points have been transferred to the new portal. 

Now that the new site is available, we have redirected the rewards site link on the rewards card page and are providing instructions here, via email, and by letter to help you get connected to the new site. 

You will need to register for the new site; the credentials (user name and password) you used for the old site will no longer work.  Please note that you must have an email address on file with your account information in order to sign up.  If you have not provided an email or if your email address has changed, please contact us to update your information so that you will be able to use the new rewards site.

As part of the conversion, awards points total will not be included with the credit card statements printed December 15, 2020.  All your current awards points will begin appearing again on credit card statements beginning with the January 15, 2021, cycle.

Visit the rewards site now to get registered and check your rewards balance.

Registration Instructions:

  1. VIsit www.extraawards.com/hopecu.
  2. Click on the “Create New Account” link at the bottom of the login page.
  3. A new page will open with information you will need to provide to complete the registration process.
  4. Provide all the required information. NOTE: Your account number is your credit card number.
  5. When you have entered and verified all the fields, click “Register”.
  6. You will see a new page asking you to confirm your registration with a code that is automatically sent to you via email.
  7. Check the inbox of the email that is connected to your card for the registration confirmation.  If you do not see the email in your inbox, look in any spam or junk folders that may be part of that account.
  8. The email will contain a 20-character code.  Copy that code and paste it into the confirmation form on the rewards website.
  9. Click “Confirm”.
  10. If the registration was successful, you will see a new page confirming that you have completed the process.
  11. You will then have an option to return to the login page where you can enter your new credentials and access the rewards site.
