Q: Is there a charge for using the online payment service?
A: No. HOPE does not charge for using the online mortgage payment option. If you are using a mobile device to access the Internet, your wireless carrier may charge data and messaging fees.

Q: How do I access the online payment site?
A: Go to www.hopecu.org and log in to or register for HOPENet Online Banking to pay your mortgage.

Q: Do I have to be a member of the credit union to use the service?
A: You must have a member number to access the online payment system. If you are already a Hope Credit Union member, and are registered for HOPENet online banking, just log in and follow the prompts from the “Pay Mortgage” menu option. If you can’t remember your member number to access or register for HOPENet Online Banking, you can call Member Services toll-free at 1-866-321-4673 and they can help you.

Q: When can I pay my mortgage?
A: You should pay your mortgage on or before the due date each month to avoid any late fees. You can pay any time that is convenient for you of during the grace period based on what is most convenient for you. You can access the payment system 24 hours a day, any day of the week. Mortgage payments are due on the first and considered late after the sixteenth of each month. Late fees will apply if the payment is not paid on or before the sixteenth.

Q: How do I set up for ACH or recurring payments?
A: You can get set up an automated or recurring payment online once you are in the system and selecting “Automatic Payments”. You can also contact us at 1-855-876-1864 and we can send you a form.

Q: If I make an electronic payment, when will the money be taken out of my account?
A: Electronic transactions are turned into an Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment. ACH items normally take 1 to 2 business days to process, but there are situations in which the payment could be processed immediately.
