Creating Jobs in Nashville, AR

Husqvarna Forestry Products N.A., Inc. (a Swedish manufacturer of garden, lawn, and construction tools) invested $10 million to purchase and install a new plating, honing and machining manufacturing line at its plant which dramatically increased efficiency and productivity. HOPE provided an $8 million NMTC allocation towards the project. This investment enabled Husqvarna to maintain operations in Nashville instead of moving jobs overseas and supported 1,177 jobs at the plant, as well as more than 800 additional jobs in the Nashville, AR area.
