Paycheck Protection Program – Loan Forgiveness

We appreciate you choosing HOPE for your Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan. You are now eligible to apply for loan forgiveness for the PPP loan you received from HOPE. If you fail to complete the process, you will be responsible for making monthly payments until you receive a decision on your forgiveness application or the loan has been repaid.

To apply for loan forgiveness, go directly to the SBA website (https://directforgiveness.sba.gov).  Follow the instructions there to complete your forgiveness application. 

The forgiveness application process can take up to 60 days, so be sure to take action at least two months prior to the date that your first payment is due. If your application is not processed prior to the first payment due date, you will be responsible for making monthly payments until the forgiveness application process is completed.
